1. **Early Life and Conversion:** Anthony Mary Claret (1807-1870) was initially a mediocre Catholic. His life changed after a near-death experience when he called on the Blessed Virgin for help. He converted and became an ordained priest, dedicating himself to missionary work.

2. **Missionary Work:** Claret became a renowned orator, known for his powerful voice and ability to move crowds. He preached zealously, often moving his audiences to tears. He had extraordinary charismas, including prophecies and exorcisms, which impressed and attracted people.

3. **Founding the Claretians:** Claret founded the Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, also known as the Claretians. He understood the importance of traditional methods in preaching and attracting people to the faith.

4. **Archbishop of Santiago:** Claret was appointed Archbishop of Santiago, Cuba. He faced opposition from Freemasonry, which was deeply entrenched in Cuba. His efforts to correct the Island's bad customs and morals led to numerous attempts on his life.

5. **Exile and Curse of Cuba:** Due to Masonic pressures, Claret was removed from Cuba and appointed as Patriarch of India. Before leaving, he cursed Cuba, predicting its spiritual decline. His curse was realized with Cuba's independence, marked by corruption and immorality.

6. **Influence on Queen Isabella II:** Claret influenced Queen Isabella II, who initially supported liberalism. However, she changed her stance under Claret's influence, which led to her removal from power by Masonic forces.

7. **Vatican Council I:** Claret participated in Vatican Council I. He vehemently censured liberal Bishops opposing Papal Infallibility. His strong reaction led to a stroke, from which he never recovered.

the patron of those who fight for the Papacy against liberal Bishops.
