We were fortunate enough to take a deeper look inside Montana’s Haunted Old State Prison.
Constructed in 1871 by the convicts themselves, this was the first territorial prison in the USA. Trap doors lead to a warren of dark, haunting surveillance tunnels. The chilling black box cells where inmates were locked for up to 10 days. A mattress, wool blanket and a honey bucket were the only items provided! What other secrets does this foreboding prison hold?
