FDOE Board Member Petty confirms with Chancellor Burns that no books have actually been banned in Florida. Books that are readily available to purchase are NOT banned, they are just inappropriate for minor children. Can you show The Exorcist or The Hangover in a Classroom? NO! Are they banned? Absolutely not. This is the same exact thing.
