Should you smoke a Tri-Tip like a Brisket? (yes, you absolutely need to)

Welcome to the Mothership! Today we are smoking a tri-tip exactly like we would do a Brisket!

This one threw me a curve ball....It honestly might become my go-to cook for folks new to smoking. Not difficult and the results were incredible! I'm smoking this on a pellet grill, but ill show you how to do it on any smoker!

Ingredients:
2 Lb Tri-Tip (I used USDA Prime)
Kosher Salt
Coarse Black Pepper
Garlic Powder + Minced

Chimi-Churi
Juice of 1/2 Lemon
1 Cup Parsley (packed)
5 smoked garlic clovesa
1/2 cups olive oil
1/4 Cup red wine vinegar
2 tbsp water
1/4 red onion
1 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes

Pellets Used:
Knotty Wood Almond
