Let's break some "rules". I have ALWAYS, ever since I began canning around 20 years ago, reused my canning lids. I did this for YEARS before I "learned you weren't supposed to." I never heard of it before; I mean why couldn't they be reused, it never seemed to be a problem so why question it?
