Animal Abuse on Facebook

020723 Recently I was contacted by a veterinary technician who, after watching my video on “natural pet health advocate” Dr. Andrew Jones, reached out to let me know there is someone worse. His name is Jeff Hargett and he is the admin of a private Facebook group named ‘Holistic Help for Pets’. Infiltrating and documenting the group activities has been a deeply distressing and emotional experience, invoking feelings of shock, disgust, and sadness at what can only be described as animal abuse. The thought of animals being subjected to harm and suffering, intentionally or not, was difficult to bear, and the knowledge that there are people who actively engage in and promote such behaviour was at times overwhelming.
