Well, finally getting started with this Annealing Made Perfect Mark 2.0 machine!!
I got this thinking we'd get some rain weekends this summer, but then it never rained, so I got to spend every weekend on my range! Wasn't going to pass that up. But I had a friend I'm doing the PRS stuff with who needed to anneal some brass, so I finally had a reason to get this out and start playing with it. We ran through about 100 cases of his. So fast!! This was annealing a case about 2.5 seconds!! Very impressive.

I figured since I was getting started with it, I'd share with you all the first steps. So, you start by going through the automatic Aztec mode that will analyze your brass and provide you a code. Do 2 to 3 cases and get the average of those codes. I went through my .223 brass piles and found a few that I have a lot of and wanted to get some codes for these 3 to go with my 2 different 6 Creedmoor cases I have. This video shows that even though you may have the same type of brass, every company makes them slightly different. You will get different codes depending on the composition of the brass, thickness plays a factor I think, and possibly the age of it. I'm still learning, so hopefully that is correct.
