Want To See How Bags Perform? With Triggercam Target View!
Let's look at the difference in bags! I can show how they perform on target now! I finally got myself a Triggercam 2.1! This will allow me to show everyone better what I'm seeing through my scope. I wanted to show how the last match was giving me problems with my bag choice.
So, I get the cam set up and installed on my scope. Then I show off 4 bags and how it looks on a target at about 500 yards and 740 yards.
The first is what I used in my match. You can see how it moves around off target too easily and when running the bolt, it's all over the place!! Takes a few extra seconds to get back on target.
Next, I show a Shmedium Game Changer, then an OG with a lighter fill, and a Pint size Game Changer. These really are the best bags for resting your rifle on to get stable on a prop or barricade. It's quite impressive how much better these work!
I think I may take some more fill from my first bag and see if that will take some of the roundness out of it. Try to allow it to flow better and plop down and get more stable.
Let me know what else you want to see looking through my scope! Next, I will try to show how rear bags help and different ones affect how stable your reticle is on target. But, I'm happy to try and show off anything else you want to see. Just let me know in the comments!
Thanks for watching! Have a great rest of your day and an awesome weekend!!

Building A PRS Skills Stage Barricade Wall!!
This video I wanted to show off and share this PRS Skills Stage Barricade Wall that I built. As I have been talking about in several of my videos, my weakest point right now is during the positional stages. I'm still not great at getting set up quickly and having a solid, stable position to engage targets from. I need to work on this the most currently. I found this in the PRS rulebook they call a Skills Stage. It sounds like most ranges will have a wall like this and run one of three stages from it. I figure if I can get better at doing things like this, I will be able to move up a bit more in my finishes!!
The idea is that all the ranges will have one stage that is the same no matter where the range is. Some places have mostly positional stages, others are mostly prone with a few positional. By having a consistent stage, there will always be one stage that competitors can gauge their performance on a set, predictable metric.
So, as me and my dad were building this, I burned my face, lol. I tried to be helpful while he was welding, so I got some eclipse glasses so I could hold the metal in place for him. I didn't think about the bright light coming from it, but the next morning my face was very burned!! It's ok, feel free to laugh at me! Remember to wear the proper safety attire when welding!!
I took the weekend off from actually shooting at my range. I know in the long run, having this built will do more for me than one more weekend of trying to practice the same things I've been doing. Now that I have this built, I can set up a few different stages on my place and work on moving from position to position. I will be testing a few more bag options and ways to set up on the barricade in future videos.
Make sure you are subscribed so you can see how those test work out!! I'd like to have you join in and follow along as I work on improving these skills!!
Thanks for watching what I did here. I hope you have a great day and an awesome weekend!!

April PRS Match - A Lot Of Good, A Little Bad!
Well, this last match was overall pretty good! I got out there and had a really solid start to this PRS match. My first stage went awesome! Got a hit on every shot!! I was pumped. Then, I had a bad stage on the 3rd target, lol. I think my wind call was a little off. Then the 3rd stage, I chose wrong on my bag usage. I explain in the video, but I thought using an attached bag was the smart move. I was much more unstable than I wanted to be. I show off what I should have done. After the match, I did some dry fire practice just working on the prop and learning a better way to move through it with my Game Changer bag. I am starting to finally see why everyone only uses that bag. It really is awesome and can do just about everything. I just need to get better at moving positions with it. I am learning all the time and next time, I will be better at this!!
The 4th and 5th stages all went really great. Overall, I ended up 4th. I was only behind 1st by 10 total hits!! If I did a little better on that 2nd or 3rd stage, I would have ended up 3rd and maybe could have been 2nd. But, just means there is still more to work on and improve. At least I am at the point that I can see more quickly what I do wrong and figure out the best way to correct those errors!!
Thanks for watching. I really appreciate your time. I hope you have a great rest of your day and an awesome weekend!!

Eclipse Day At The Range!!
So, I figured with the eclipse happening, I was going to have a chance to test something that seldom comes around. Everyone was talking about being prepared, getting extra supplies and gas, having another form of communication ready just in case things went bad. Well, that gave me the idea to see if my pistols were going to work during an eclipse!!
In my area, we were only about 90%, so it never got dark. It did cool down quite noticeably. That was pretty neat to experience while outside. I didn't manage to find any eclipse glasses in time, but it was obvious that it was not getting dark at my place. Was hoping to show off some light work, but that did not happen.
Either way, after testing I can say that your pistols should be eclipse-proof!! I had no problems from 22LR to 9mm. Even managed to hit some farther away steel targets!!
This was a fun time at the range in between the work I'm doing getting ready for my PRS match this Sunday.
I hope you liked spending some time with me at my range having a fun time. The Freedom Farm is the best place to be!!
Thank you for watching. Leave a comment and let me know what you want to see next from me! Have a great day and an awesome weekend!!

Using My Kestrel The RIGHT Way!!
So, as I was doing more testing to find the issue I had with my Kestrel, I think I found the problem! When comparing readings with my friend's Kestrel and both giving the same directions, we kept going through some settings and looking into it.
Finally, I told how I set the wind speeds manually at the last matches when I was having problems. I was setting Wind Speed 1 as the lowest speed I saw and Wind Speed 2 as the highest. Well, that is wrong!!!
WS1 is the average speed!!! And WS2 is the high/gust speed.
So I was seeing lows of 2 to 3 but the average was more around 11-14mph. I did a few tests manually changing those numbers and I was getting windage adjustments that went from .1/.2 mil to .9-1.3. So, I was up to a full Mil off on my windage adjustments!! On targets that are 1-1.5 MOA, when aiming at the center that Mil I was off was likely putting my shot right off the edge!
So, I went out here and took some shots with the correct type of readings.
As you can see here, I got hits on every shot that I took!!
So, I think I have this figured out now. I of course will be watching the numbers I'm given and verify that they make sense, but for now I think this issue is something that I have solved!!
Then I took some shots with a few of the more inconsistent rounds. I wanted to know if they would still hit the target. They all did, so I think I can stop stressing a few thousandths of an inch on some of these. I needed to see and verify this before my brain would believe it, lol. I'm hard-headed and have to do things myself before I believe it!
Thanks for spending some time with me. I hope you have a great day and an awesome weekend!! See you on the next one!

Is My T-Rex Gel Target Actually Magic?!?
Check Out My Magic T-Rex Gel Target!!!
This was a fun one to put together. I got this Kentucky Ballistics T-Rex Gel target on a sale when I was shopping for a mold to reshape the standard rectangular gel blocks. I thought it was just going to be a fun shaped target, but little did I know when I got it that it was actually magic!!!
Check out what happens to these projectiles! They fired from 3 different firearms as 3 different calibers, but when I got down to inspect the results something happened! They turned into 22LR projectiles after passing through the T-Rex!! I think that is actual magic that I caught in this video.
Obviously, this was just a fun video to put together for today. Happy April 1st everyone!! Have fun and I hope you all have a great rest of the month!!!

Testing My Kestrel. Problem Or My Imagination?
So, this weekend I wanted to try and test some things with my Kestrel. As I've said in a few of my match review videos, I seem to keep getting readings that don't really make sense. I have a pretty good sense of direction and I will get some readings of direction that are not at all correct.
I tend to have to calibrate this several times during the day of a match. I wanted to test to see if the magnets in my dope card holder are causing the problem, or if I can identify what else may be.
The magnets do definitely cause it to give an incorrect reading. But when more than 18 or so inches away, it reverts back to it's correct reading. So, that is good to know that I can be close to it, but not when trying to take directional readings. But it was not causing it to stay out of calibration.
So, I don't think the magnets are the issue.
I realized when editing that my microphone has a magnet on it and I was getting some weird readings when I was holding the Kestrel closer to my body. That can be explained away for some of the odd things I saw when doing this.
I could not get it to fall out of calibration and stay like it was the other week at the match. I am guessing that maybe it was just something odd that happened and it got stuck. I am going to do some more testing this next weekend and actually go back to 500 yards and take some shots. I ran out of daylight this weekend doing the other things I needed to get done at my place. Stay tuned for April 1st video!! Got a fun one coming up!
So, after all of this I am not settled on if I'm doing something wrong, my Kestrel is out of whack and needs serviced, or if the problem is in my imagination and I'm overthinking this issue I saw.
Obviously, if it can give me numbers that put me on target, then I don't think I've got much to keep stressing about. I probably just need to get better at reading wind and stop worrying about the numbers I see on this all the time, lol.
Let me know if you have any ideas, I'm open to trying anything. If it's still being weird to me, after the next match I will ship it off the next day and have Kestrel take a look at it. Hopefully I can get through this next match and not lose hits because of this!
Thanks for hanging out for a few! Have a great rest of your week and I hope to see you on the next one!!!

My 7th PRS Match Reviewed. The Good And The Bad!! Kestrel Issue?
Let's go over my 7th PRS match I did this last Sunday! I started out pretty decent, then seemed to fall apart by the end of the match, lol.
Some of the positional stages I did fairly good on, especially since I did some things I have not practiced before. I really should have stuck with my original plan and used the bags in the way that I had worked on a bit, but I saw that everyone else was doing something different, so I figured that must be the best way to do it. I had not practiced that, so I fumbled around with some of the position changes. I ended up with decent hits on 2 of the 3 positional stages.
On the prone, I started well with 4 out of the 5 shots at 1050 hitting the steel! Then something went wrong for the remainder of the stages. I got much fewer hits that I should have. I could not see where my misses were, so I was not able to properly correct for follow up shots. I realized that my Kestrel was losing compass calibration quite a lot. That got me to worrying about the numbers it was giving me. I tried to manually input the direction and wind data, but I'm guessing that I did some of that wrong. I should not have missed as many as I did. There were a few stages I should have done better on! But, I'll be doing more work on the Kestrel the next few weeks. I will find what is causing the compass to go out of whack and see if once I get that issue ironed out I can get a few more hits each stage. I know most of my shots felt really good. Solid trigger presses and centered on target very well. But, if I was dialing the wrong numbers on my scope, my shots of course were going somewhere I was not expecting them to!!
So, as usual, I did a few things well, and found a few more things I need to work on. Thankfully, the weather is finally warming up!! I can get out and do more outdoors for longer now. I found a few things that I can build to set up in my back yard and work on the positional stuff. Once I am more confident with that part of it, and able to 100% trust my Kestrel data, I think I will add at least 12-16 hits per match.
Overall, I ended up 4th!! Even with my mistakes, I still did decently well. I need to get 8-10 more to get myself up to 3rd, but I am happy with my final finish.
Stay tuned! There will be a lot more coming now that the Oklahoma weather is more pleasant!!

Results From My First Full Reloads! Think This Is Good?
I wanted to show off my results from this reloading project. I got to resize my brass last weekend, and got these test rounds loaded up.
I needed to get some data and zero my scope to this load for my match coming up with Sunday! I had to move my reticle a little bit to match my impact point. Then I tested a few of the slight variations in my sized brass and the once fired and new brass.
I need to know if they will hit close to the same spot on target. Looks like they are going to be very, very close. Good enough for steel targets out to 1,000 yards I think!!
I do need to adjust my Kestrel. I was getting adjustments for my scope that sent me over the top of my target at 495 yards. So, I'll make that adjustment and move down about .2 Mil and I should be on target pretty well. Hopefully I can get to the range early and test a few shots before the match starts to verify that data!!
Let me know what you think about this work. I hope I'm doing this all right, lol. Thank you for watching. I hope you have a great weekend!!

My First Bushing Die Set Up!
So, this is going to be my first attempt to use a bushing die. I picked up these Redding Type S Match dies as a set. This is the proper way, full length sizing die! So, let me know if I did anything terribly wrong here please. Besides not putting a little bit of lube inside the die before my first case! I left that in so you can laugh at me forgetting that. Made a cranky noise at me.
I think I have this set now. Seems like I should have a good, solid grip on my projectiles! And my shoulders should be bumped back to be similar to these Lapua cases when they were new before being fire formed. I'm sure I'll get a little better at this as I do it more and get some testing time to try a few different settings.
I also wanted to show off my RCBS Mic set. It is a really easy way to get your measurements for setting the shoulder bump on your sizing die! It also includes a way to measure inside your chamber and get the proper length to the lands of your barrel. I will probably try that soon and see if I can determine my optimal seating depth for this rifle. But for now, I think my current seating depth is working very well!
I did try to use the Whidden Gunworks click adjust lock ring. I am going to assume that I did something wrong when setting it up. I will have to reach out to them when I have some time and figure out where I went wrong. When the die is out of the press, it will click like it's supposed to. But when in the press it was not clicking. I may have just got the ring tight to the bushing too early so there was too much tension to allow it to click. So that part of this failed for now. But if you are interested in it, let me know and I'll figure it out better and make a follow up video!
Let me know if you have any tips! Always looking to learn more and get better at this as I get further into it and do more. Thank you for you time and I hope you have a great rest of your day!

Finally Got The RS-15!! But Will It Work??
So, after waiting nearly a year, I finally got the RS-15 from Primary Arms. It was supposed to be out late April of 2023. It finally released 2 weeks ago in mid February 2024!!
I went off their initial information and had my slide on the Platypus cut for the Delta Point Pro pattern. They have changed it to a C-More pattern, so there are not recesses for the lugs that DPP uses!! I ended up getting some shims to bridge that space and I think it will work.
I was able to get it zeroed for now. I have to get back to PRS projects the next 2 weeks, so I will be taking it to the range in a few weeks and testing it again. I want to see if the impact point moves around. If the screws will stay tight and it holds it's zero, then this will work for me.
If it walks around and I have to keep tightening the screws, then I will pull it off and install on my TX22 Competition. Then I will just get a DPP and work with what I have!! Wish me luck, lol.
Thanks for hanging out and watching. I appreciate your time. I hope you have a great rest of your day and an awesome weekend!!

2 Matches In 1 Weekend!! - IDPA And PRS
I had a busy weekend!! Saturday I did a local IDPA pistol match, then went back to work and Sunday I went to a local PRS rifle match!! A little of everything to keep me on my toes! Up close work and then long range work. I did it all and had a lot of fun!
The IDPA match was actually a very cold day. No sun, wind, it was miserable outside. But, I ended up with 2nd overall. I should have done a little better, but I fell apart on the last stage and got way too much penalty time. My hands were frozen and my grip was gone by that point. Still had a great time!
The PRS match was a cold start in the morning, but we had the sun out and it turned into a rather nice day! I had a rocky start, but ended up with 3rd overall. My best finish in these PRS matches so far!! I am quite pleased. I had some problems seeing the targets. The sun angle was making it very difficult to find and see the targets. Sometimes they were washed out in the scope, other times it was like they just blended into the backgrounds and I was lost. I spend too much time looking for targets. My Kestrel figures were mostly on point, but I had 2 stages that I was off a bit and had a few more misses than I should have. Good trigger pulls while on target, but if my clicks were not right, of course I was going to miss! Still more to work on, but I got a lot more confidence after this match!!
Needless to say, I was exhausted by the time I got home Sunday. Finally starting to feel a little better. I am not sure I would try to do 2 matches in 1 weekend again, but I know I can now, so I won't turn the opportunity down if it works out that way again!
Thank you for watching. I truly appreciate your time. Let me know what you think and check out some Coffee here to support my efforts!
Have a great rest of your day!!

I Got A New Holster For IDPA Matches!
Well, I finally got myself a holster that will be better suited for the local IDPA matches that I try to make when I have the time. This is the Velocity holster from Blade-Tech. It is geared toward the competition side of things with red dot compatibility and low cuts for easy draw. I have been running a T-Rex holster on a drop leg mount that allows me to quickly draw with my lanky, long arms! This is going to be trickier to get a super fast draw, but after winning the overall at my last match in October, I wanted to try and compete within all the regulations. That led me to find this holster that I could put on a belt paddle mount and get it really close to my body. Rather uncomfortable for me, but I have very boney hips and long arms, so this will just take some more practice to get used to running it quickly!
I wanted to show this off since my weekend got very busy. I'll have this match on Saturday, run back to work to finish the day and do my orders for the week, then home to unload the pistol match gear and load up the PRS gear for my match that got moved to this Sunday!! Very busy weekend for me running from pistol to long range rifle. Should be fun, but I am going to be exhausted by the time I get home Sunday afternoon!!
Thanks for stopping by and watching. Let me know if you have any questions! I hope you have a great rest of you day and an awesome weekend!!

Preparing For My PRS Match - Will The Send It Level Help?
So this last weekend I needed to get a few things done to get ready for my upcoming PRS match. Main thing was install my MDT Send It MV3 Electronic Level. I ended up getting this on Black Friday sale, so I've had it since early December and just now getting to install it, lol. I stay too busy. But after getting installed, I realized I needed it higher, so I use the included height spacers and got it ready to go now!! Excited to use this on Sunday at my match and see if it can help me save a few seconds on the stages!!!
Next, I needed to get some of my bags ready. They are filled to the max when new, so I needed to take some fill out so they will flow around obstacles better and settle down faster. The poly fill was full of static electricity and that made this job a little harder and longer than I was expecting. But I got it all done and they are now a little better set up for how I like them!!
Also, I finally got my quick detach bipod idea figured out. Had to do some engineering. Mlok adapter to attach to picatinny, then a pic piece that attaches to an Area 419 Arca clamp. That piece had a bit of tail that I didn't need, so I bench grindered it off and now it is secure and seems to be holding well. At least, strong enough for a bipod for 1 stage per match. I will be testing this more, but I am pretty sure this is the solution I needed!!
Thank you for watching. I hope you have a great rest of you day and an awesome weekend. Let me know what else you want to see next!!

Look At All My Bags!! - I May Have A Problem!!
Well, I keep talking about my collection of bags and I figured I would go ahead and show off the cooler ones finally!!
In this video I show off 33 of my bags and cases. I have some backpacks, firearm specific bags, positional shooting support bags. Actually, I forgot about the bags in one of the backpacks and rolling bag, so counting those support bags this video shows more like 40 bags!!!
I have a lot of older bags from my motocross racing days and when I used to do freestyle motocross shows. I picked up some really cool stuff from Ogio during those days. Almost all of them except 2 backpacks are still in great shape and I still use them from the early 2000s!! I have a few one-off special bags that were not put into full production, so those are cool to show off.
My main firearm bags are from Savior Equipment. I have their double pistol case, large range bag pistol case from the Specialist line, Urban Warfare and American Classic rifle cases and a rifle mag carrier. The Savior stuff is really cool. They do a great job in my opinion at making bags that have great storage compartments that are well thought out.
From Vertx, I have a backpack and a rolling bag that can convert to a backpack, but I just use it to carry my heavy PRS bags from stage to stage at my matches since I picked it up on Black Friday sale!!
From Cloud Defensive I have a few of their ammo bags. Pretty sturdy little bags that can carry extra pistol mags in the lid!
I have the Podavach AR mag loader and their carry case with a full bunch of mags for my AR ready to go if things need to be grabbed quickly!!
For positional bags for my PRS stuff, I have several from Creedmoor Sports, Cole-Tac and Armageddon Gear. These bags are all used for different obstacles and barricades at matches to try and get a stable platform built to break good shots and get hits on target!!
I have my shotgun case from Allen. Found this on Amazon and actually really, really like this for my shotgun use.
I also have some camera gear bags from PGYTech and Lowepro. Currently, the PGYTech is what I use when I'm making these videos I post here.
I also have a few little totes from 5.11 that I scored on a sale.
Obviously, I like picking things up when they are on sale. Always good to get great products at a discounted price!!
If you see anything here that I didn't cover, please leave me a comment and let me know. I will try to help out and answer as many questions as possible. And if needed, I can film some shorts to show off some more specific things if I zipped over them.
I tried to make this short, but I filmed for over an hour and a half. Thankfully, I cut down as much as possible. Tried to leave in some of my funny moments while making this!!
Thank you for watching. I really do appreciate every single person who watches my videos. I hope you have a great day and I look forward to seeing you on future videos!!

My Upgraded Lee APP - Pistol Brass
I will show how I swapped the calibers with the upgrade system I am using on my Lee APP. I had some questions to see how it worked with pistol brass, so since I got rained out of my practice this last weekend, I figured I would show this off some more!
I did forget one thing to change, but I left that in so you can laugh at my mistake, and hopefully help to remind you to change both pieces needed for a caliber change!! I figure it'd be fun to laugh at my mistake with me.
I am still very happy with my upgraded system. It allows much more capacity which means I spend less time loading tubes and more time running the step I have it set up for. I always enjoy things that can save time and this is one of the best things I've tried to save my time!!
Check out the original video here where I show setting it up:

Well Regulated - What Does It Actually Mean In The Second Amendment?
Well-Regulated Militia. What did well-regulated actually mean when written?
I have seen this one phrase in the Second Amendment used by both sides to try and reinforce their views. I wanted to try my hand at explaining it the best I can and show some actual examples of the definition of the phrase "well-regulated" actually meant when it was written!!
I hope these examples show what a properly functioning firearm looks like as opposed to some that are out of regulation.
If anyone on the other side of the argument sees this, please leave your comments in the spirit of having a discussion and maybe we can both talk civilly. That seems to be a lost art these days!
Thank you for watching. I hope you have a great rest of your day!!

5th PRS Match Review While Prepping Powder!
Well, we had our 5th match in the PRS group I've been going out with this past Sunday. Looking at the weather this coming weekend, that was a great schedule change. Our high is showing of 19 degrees. So, as much as I was miserable in the cold last weekend, I would be broken this weekend, lol.
It was so cold and miserable for me, that I just did not want to mess with setting up my camera. Since I missed all the footage, I figured I would get ahead on my next batch of powder charges for my next test and tell you all about how the match went!
So, I still have to get more practice time on the positional stuff. I have some things in mind to work on over the next weeks, and hopefully that will help me out in the future to be more stable. I am good when I am on target. My data is solid and I can hit my targets. But when I'm wobbly, I'm just missing terribly. That is my biggest hurdle to overcome. I am determined enough to keep at this and get those skills learned though! I won't be able to get out as much over the next weeks. I have to protect my hands in the cold as much as possible, but any time I get a chance to go out on a decent day, I will be building obstacles and practicing on them until I get the positional skills down!!
Thanks for watching and I hope you have a great day!!

6 Creedmoor First Load Results! How Did I Do??
Time to see how I did! Getting my PRS load work closer now. Going to show how I seat and the results from my first test!
Here I am getting my measurements from my factory boxed Hornady 108 ELD Match ammo so I can start with a close replication of them for my own loading. I show how I am getting a starting CBTO, cartridge base to ogive, measurement with my Creedmoor Sports ogive tool. Then I will take that data and set up my Redding Competition seating die to get close from the first round. Then fine tune the adjustments to get the proper seating depth for these first test rounds. Once I get them all seated, I am off to the range!!
It was a very, very cold day!! I was losing light for the last group, but as you can see from my target, these are already looking really good I think!! I see a few good areas that are worth further testing, hopefully warmer and little more stable!! If I can test a larger batch of the best 3 powder charges from this test and they look good as well, I think I am off to a great start here! I hope that testing 10 of each will start to show which of those 3 will be the stand out and then I can test in smaller powder increments and maybe a little tweaks on the seating depths.
But, I think for my first attempt at my PRS rifle loads, these turned out really well!! Let me know what you think in the comments here!
I hope you all have an awesome 2024 and stay tuned, lots more fun stuff coming from me this year!!! Thank you very much, and see you on the next one!

Starting my 6 Creedmoor PRS Load. Precision Priming and Intellidropper!!
Getting into starting my load work for my PRS rig. The 6 Creedmoor loading process has begun!! I was going to use the Hornady brass I was showing in the annealing video, but I realized I have way more small primers than large, so decided to get some new Lapua brass started. I have a box of 100 new cases, so this will be a powder test as well as fire forming these first few pieces.
First, need to get them primed. I picked up the CPS from Primal Rights and this thing is awesome! Once you get the depth set, it will always seat your primer to the exact same depth. Very repeatable and very precise. Everything you want in a quality priming process. The Competition Primer Seater from Primal Rights is the fancy way to seat primers! It looks great as well!!
Next, gotta drop the powder. I got this Frankford Arsenal Intellidropper on a sale. I hear either very good things or very bad things about them. I was hoping I would get a good machine. From this first batch, I think I got lucky!! Once set up, it was dropping exactly the charge I wanted. I checked against an A&D scale that can measure to .02 grain accuracy, and the charge was exactly what it should be. 38.9 on both scales!!! I really thought there would be at least .04 grain difference, but it was spot on. This is going to save a lot of time over throwing and trickling up to my desired charge. I am very pleased with the performance so far! Let's hope it keeps up!!
I appreciate you watching my video! Next up, I will get my seating die set up and get some projectiles seated and ready for the range! I hope you will come back to see that next!
I hope you have a great New Year's and thank you for an awesome year here on my channel!! You all rock!!

Hands Free Annealing? Amp Mate makes it happen!
Well, in my quest to save as much time as possible, I went ahead and jumped all the way into annealing. This is a look at the Amp Mate from Annealing Made Perfect. I was annealing some shorter cases for a friend last week, and decided to show off how to change case sizes and make the adjustments needed to get it running smoothly.
This thing is great once it is all set up. The adjustments are tricky at first, but once I understood what each part does and how to set it for optimal performance, this went much faster! I should be able to swap between my cases and my friend's in just a few minutes now.
Let me know if I missed any detail that you want to know about and I'll answer as best I can or make another video showing off what you need help with.
This is an awesome system to save a lot of time and free up your hands to do other things. For a person like me who has more things to do in a day than I can possibly accomplish, it is nice to be able to set this up, turn it on, and go on to my next task while it does the time consuming job of annealing for me!
Thank you for watching! I hope you have a great day and a very Merry Christmas this weekend!!!

How did my 4th PRS match go? Watch and learn!
PRS Match Day! It was a cold, cold morning!! I will admit, I do not like cold and I don't like mornings. This was a very cold and early morning for me!! I managed to wake up and get out to the range right on time to get started. First stage was the spinner, so I didn't even bother setting up to film. I knew I was gonna suck on that, and I did, lol. Figured the rest of the day could not go any worse, so I set up to film and try to break the streak of the last 2 matches where I would have my worse stages when I filmed. Managed to get 7 of 8 hits on the first stage I filmed, so I broke that bad luck streak!!
Had a few bad stages, but most were decent. I found a few more things I need to put some more time into working on. Mainly getting more stable quickly on the positional stages. I managed to get through most of the shots, but missed more than I think I should have from being a bit wobbly than I want to be. More things to work on for the next one in a month! I also need to get better with the Kestrel. I was doing some experimenting and I think I figured out what I have been doing wrong. If it's close to my body where my phone is in my shirt pocket, or on my rifle near the magnets on my dope card holder, I get reading showing the wrong directions. I'll figure out how much space I need between the Kestrel and any other items and I will get that problem fixed soon!!
Let me know what you think. If you want to see the raw match footage, let me know and I'll put it all together for another video just showing me shooting the stages. Maybe I can post that stuff to a members only section in the future if there is any interest in that. Drop me a comment, and let me know!
Thanks so much for watching!!

Getting ready for my 4th PRS match!! New things!!
Getting prepared to go to the next match this week. I went out to get some data for the Norma ammo I have and wanted to take the chance to show off another cool thing you can do with a Kestrel. I didn't do this right so when I went to try and hit my spinner, I was not connecting, but I show you how to do the process a little here. If you want to see it better, let me know and I'll spend more time on the range and do it properly and test it out!
In short, I should be able to leave my scope turrets set to my Hornady ammo and if I need to swap to the Norma, I can tell the Kestrel what the impact offset is and it will take that into consideration for longer distances and apply it to the adjustments it gives me! Kind of a cheat to get around re-zeroing the turrets all the time!!
Showing off some of my Black Friday orders that arrived. Mostly looking forward to testing the Cole Tac Ammo Novel. I spilled my ammo out of the MTM case when I got up to move and didn't see that the latches did not close all the way. Looking down from above, they appeared to be closed, but I just dumped all my ammo on the ground and had to clean the grass and dirt off it all. This should eliminate that problem and store my ammo in a slimmer way so I can slip this into my backpack and carry from stage to stage easier! Got some other cool Cole-Tac items to show off soon as well.
Also picked up a bore guide from Mike Lucas. General opinion on the forums is that he makes the best, so instead of trying some of the cheaper, universal types, I just went right to this one. I will be doing a deep clean on my rifle soon, so I wanted to make sure and have all the tools I'll need on hand and ready to go! Let me know if you want to see a cleaning video. It will be my first time to really get into it on a bolt action, so it will be a learning experience for me as well!!
Thanks for watching. I appreciate your time and I hope you have a great weekend!!!

Cole-Tac delivery! Will this Ammo Novel work better for my next match?
Going to give this ammo novel from Cole Tac a try on the next match. Video out tomorrow night will explain why, lol. I kinda spilled all the ammo out of the big box I used for the last match. Got in a hurry and didn't realize the latches did not close. I show off what happen in my upcoming video!
Getting things ready to go for my 4th PRS match this coming Sunday the 10th of December. I hope I get it all done in time and my data holds true. Wish me luck!!

Best tripod system? Fat Boy Elevate Tripod and Levitate Head
I wanted to show off in a little more detail my new Fat Boy tripod! This is their Elevate tripod. It is an inverted type, meaning the locks for the legs are on the top instead of the bottom of the legs. No more bending down and fiddling with levers to lock the tripod legs!! There are others that do this, but the thing that sold me on going with this Fat Boy model is their head. I got the Levitate head with this one. It's like a half ball head with a lever below instead of the usual knob on the side of the full ball. The benefits of this can be seen in the ease of locking and unlocking the head, and the biggest benefit is the additional stability. Instead of balancing your rifle on top of a round ball, this removes the top of that ball and gives you a lower, more flat surface to be mounted to. Lower center of gravity is always more stable, and this is a great example of that! The downside to this design is there is only 15 degrees of angular movement. So more mountainous areas might want to consider the standard Invert 60 head. It should be quite stable as well, but this is just a bit more. But you will have much, much more throw on the full ball. For me, in a mostly flat area of the country in southwest Oklahoma, I don't have to worry about high degree shots being needed, so the Levitate is perfect for me!!
I also got their Side Chick. This is a nifty attachment that threads onto any of the 1/4-20 threaded mounts on the tripod. It has 4 total. One on the platform and one on each of the 3 legs. This Side Chick gives a handy way to keep your phone, Kestrel, game call, anything else you want within reach. It is like a camera magic arm with the double ball jointed adjustment. Just loosen the knob, move it where you want, and lock the knob down to keep your gear within reach!! It's a spring-loaded holder, like common phone holders. But made of metal!!
Let me know what you think or if you see something I missed, I will be happy to answer any questions you may have to the best of my ability!! I hope this look at the Fat Boy Elevate and Levitate showed it off well for you to decide if this is something you might want. If you are in the market, reach out to Paramount Tactical. They answered all my questions and are some really solid people running a great business. I am very pleased with my purchase from them, and they have the best price I found! Another win!!
Thank you for watching. I appreciate your time and I wish you a great week and a wonderful weekend!!
