Derek Prince The Rapture in the Bible

Derek Prince explains the word Rapture used in the bible and particularly the New Testament will happen in the end times. This word rapture was taken from the Greek verb harpazo, meaning, “to seize upon, spoil, snatch away or take to oneself,” especially used of rapture (Acts 8:39; 2 Cor 12:2, 4; 1 Thess 4:17; Rev 12:5). It is used several times in the New Testament of people caught up to heaven. After Philip had baptized the Ethiopian unique he was caught away. The apostle Paul was taken to the third heaven. In Revelation is says the man child will be caught up. And four times in other passages the rapture means "taking someone by force from some situation. It will happen without warning, it will be sudden and forceful.
