Mulago surgical week comes to an end - Over 8,000 surgical procedures conducted

Over 8000 patients seeking surgical procedures in different areas received treatment at the concluded week long surgical health camp held at Mulago National Referral Hospital.

The Chairperson, parliamentary Committee on Health, Dr. Charles Ayume, who was the Chief Guest at the closing ceremony of the surgical health camp, urged the government to allocate special funds for surgical camps in the country as another way of delivering specialized services to the population.
