Our Under Bay Storage is Done! Our Skoolie Bus Build Series

The framing of the underbay was one of the first big project we did on the bus. It was a prefect project to expand my metal fabrication skills and to learn to build in a way that allows for future servicing. I built the floor framing so that it is not permanently attached , this is so I can remove it for a large repair or servicing. I also broke the underbay framing down into pieces that could easily be moved around the shop and could be taken on and off the bus with only a few bolts during the fabrication phase.

We are a husband and wife team that loves to take on hard projects. We finished our bus project after 2 years of hard work and are now enjoying life on the road. We plan to travel for a year or two more while we prepare to homestead in northern Idaho. Come join us as we document our journey.
