#148 🏔️ Exodus 19-20 The Ten Commandments 📜⚖️✝️

God finally met with His people from Mount Sinai and gave them His Ten Commandments- His standards for people to learn to live with God. The Commandments are summarized into 3 parts: 1) Love God with all your heart and not make idols for yourself to worship; 2) Live a holy life applied to the personhood--not commit murder or adultery and honor your father and mother; 3) love your neighbor and don't covet your neighbor's stuff or his household. Jesus, also Yahweh, summarized the Ten Commandments down to one law: to love God with all your heart and love your neighbors as yourself. Yet, the people didn't recognize who He was in the flesh and wanted to kill Him, which they did, violating all of the Ten Commandments at once. Their sins overtook them to kill God in the end.
