Mexican cop body blocks bolting bikers

A Mexican policewoman managed to thwart an armed getaway after ramming the thieves’ motorbikes… with herself. In an incredible act of bravery, the officer saw the thieves attempting to escape and walked out into the road to block them, armed only with a complete disregard for her own safety. Incredibly, this plan worked, although not without cost. The bikers plowed into her, dislodging themselves from the bike and her from her heroic stance. The bike came to a stop several meters later, as did the officer.

All three were arrested and charged with robbing a woman at knifepoint. The officer herself was taken to hospital, suffering injuries to her head and knees.
