Hundreds of migrants run openly across US border

The US-Mexico border continues to functionally not exist, as a viral video shows hundreds, if not more, migrants running as fast as they can to illegally enter the United States. Many are holding children under their arms as they run. With much cheering, the group complete their great work of crossing over the imaginary line that once separated the US from Mexico, while a lone border patrol agent looks on with disbelief. Smoking a cigarette is his only consolation.

The border crisis, much like this group of migrants, shows no signs of slowing down. Over 200,000 migrants were processed for illegal crossings in the month of September, and that’s just the ones that are known about. Despite these alarming numbers and scenes, the Border Patrol denies rumors that certain areas of the border are open to illegal migration, stressing that such claims are false and dangerous. However, videos like this surely provide evidence to the contrary.
