His African father told him to kill himself

A young man says his father had high income and provided, but wasn't much of a father. He says he was a disciplinarian, even telling him to commit suicide! More recently he says he tried to be "buddy-buddy" which felt unnatural. JLP urges him to see he's wrong for hating his father. There's never a reason to be angry.
