DIY Outdoor Cooking Space pt. 1 and Fried Chicken

Welcome back to #hollowacreshomestead , today we start on our #outdoorcookingspace. This is a #project that is going to take some time, and with winter coming, we’re more motivated than ever to add this cooking space.

Also, WHAT A MESS we have on the deck. I’ve neglected it over the summer, on a count of the heat. No more, says I. Now, we have an organized, mostly clean deck, just needs a pressure washing.

While Josh and the kids are working up an appetite, i am making #friedchicken #rice #homegrown #greenbeans and #chickengravy . It’s a really easy recipe to throw together, I can type up a recipe for download. If you’d like that, leave a comment below and let me know.
