Main Plot: Sumi and Shardul enter into a marriage of convenience, but chaos ensues when Sumi's girlfriend Rimjhim comes to live with them.

Badhaai Do is a lovely film that breaks stereotypes in a beautiful and heartwarming way. The movie is sweet, funny and sensitive all at once. And Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar are such a delight to watch. It felt like a breeze of fresh air. I was not expecting that much from it, and I was taken entirely by surprise. It's was real, honest and funny and beautiful. I loved every bit of it, and I totally recommend it.
