How I Earned Over 19% Cash Back!
- I combined the standard earning rate of 3% on U.S. Online Retail Purchases with an Amex Offer that was offering an additional 20% back (up to $10 max) for Under Armour purchases. That alone put me over 19%, but then I also went through Rakuten for an additional 10% AND used Shoprunner for free 2-day shipping and returns!

Is the Amex Blue Cash Everyday Card Worth It?

YES if you…
- Want 1 of the BEST credit cards for online retail
- Want 1 card to cover 3 useful categories: Online Retail (3%) | Gas (3%) | Groceries (3%)
- Prefer cash back over travel rewards
- Are ok with statement credit redemptions

NO if you…
- Buy groceries at Target, Walmart, Costco, etc.
- Buy gas at supermarkets, warehouse clubs, etc.
- Spend internationally in the 3% categories.
- Spend a lot more than $6,000/yr. in the 3% categories & don’t want to switch cards.
- Prefer travel rewards over cash back.
