Street Style Chowmein Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 200 grams chowmein noodles
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup cabbage, shredded
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili sauce (adjust according to spice preference)
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Salt to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Spring onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:
1. Cook the chowmein noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. Heat oil in a large pan or wok over high heat. Add the sliced onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
3. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for a minute until fragrant.
4. Add the julienned carrots, bell pepper, cabbage, and bean sprouts. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly softened but still crunchy.
5. Push the vegetables to one side of the pan and add the cooked noodles to the other side.
6. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, chili sauce, vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Pour this sauce over the noodles and toss everything together until well combined.
7. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the noodles are heated through and well-coated with the sauce.
8. Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot.
