After months of relentless development We are finally ready to show the world our new DeFi platform designed to push forward the Seasteading movement! Stead will start as a platform to provide funding here in the Philippines for small time fishermen and aquaculture businesses, but we are giving pre-approval for Seasteaders to receive funding from this platform to build their own seasteads, even in other countries.

Stead can unlock a new world of possibilities. By providing capital through cryptocurrency to the unbanked in developing countries, it is not only creating a financing option for the floating real estate seasteaders desire, but serving also a higher purpose in bringing economic opportunities to those who otherwise would never be able to expand their small business.

Each floating property carries its own NFT (Non-Fungible Token) for secure ownership tracking on the blockchain. This will serve as a sort of title of ownership that can be used across borders and in other regulatory environments.
