Covid-19 recovery fund - Banks faulted for delaying disbursement to small businesses

A section of Commercial Banks in Uganda has been faulted for delaying disbursement of Covid19 Small Business Recovery Funds.
State Minister for Investment and Privatization Evelyn Anite wants banks to honor agreements signed with government to promote development projects.
This was during an online tweet chat on the progress of the Fund where Board Chairman Uganda Investment Authority Morrison Rwakakamba proposed a shift to investment banking.
