Schools encouraged to teach sign language as one of the languages elective subjects

Schools have been encouraged to embrace the teaching of sign language as one of the elective subjects just like Kiswahili, French, and German among other languages.
The commissioner for Special Needs and Inclusive Education at the Ministry of Education and Sports Sarah Bugosi says this will not only propel inclusivity in the education sector but in all spheres of the economy.
