Hook: Tiemco 200R, 4 - 12
Thread: UTC 70 Denier, Brown
Tail: Deer hair, natural
Abdomen: Antron Dubbing, Ginger
Rear Hackle: Barred Ginger dry fly rooster saddle
Rib: Fine wire, gold
Wing: Deer hair, natural
Thorax: Antron dubbing, Brown
Front Hackle: Brown rooster dry fly dubbing

The Stimulator is a very well know dry fly that represents all sorts of surface insects; both aquatic and non-aquatic insects. Although I used deer hair in this version many people like to you Elk hair for both the tail and the wing. You can vary the dubbing, the color of the dubbing as well as the colors of the hackle to create all sorts of Stimulators for many fishing conditions. As well, many people like to add some flash under the wing and rubber legs to get the fly noticed even more. Great for coldwater and warmwater species. -- Enjoy
