Do you criticize yourself a lot? Does your inner critic tell you that you're not good enough or won't be good enough?

I can relate. I spent most of my life giving into self-criticism and self-doubt and I actually believed that it would motivate me to improve.

But that's a huge mistake: Endless self-criticism doesn't help you improve but only drains your emotional and mental energy and creates more struggle. It's the opposite of motivation -- it actually deflates you and makes it harder for you to reach your goals. Not to mention it makes you feel like crap.

And the other issue with self-criticism is that other people feel it, too! If you constantly tell yourself that you're not good enough, that's the energy you bring to your interactions -- from job interviews to work presentations. Is that the energy you want other people to feel?

Of course not!

So in this video I'm sharing a simple way to help you shift from self-criticism into self-compassion so you can struggle less, be more motivated, and more successful in reaching your goals.
