Have you ever thought to yourself: I'm not good enough, I'm not successful enough or I'm not enough? That's what I want to talk to you about today!

In this video, I want to share a really simple yet powerful practice to help you bust through these non enough thoughts.

Many of us have that voice in our heads, constantly telling us that we're not good enough. You are not alone!

A good real-life example of this is Van Gogh, one of the greatest artists of our time, who used to think he was terrible at color! So you are really not alone if you experience self-doubt.

So what can you do? In this video, I share my favorite practice to help you work through self-doubt.

It's the practice of Acceptance. First, you look at your thoughts and reality with clarity, instead of buying into the story that your brain has created. Once you have done that you can use that clarity and decide how you want to move forward through the doubt.

There are really two main steps to acceptance:

1. Look at how things are, focusing on the facts.
When your brain tells you that you are not good enough, that is just a story it has created. So get specific: What facts are there to support this story?

2. Decide how to move forward through the doubt
One thing that helps me in deciding how to move forward is to connect to my Bigger Why, connecting what I do to my sense of purpose.

Ask yourself how what you are doing helps someone else, how does it contribute to something other than yourself. How does it support or fuel a long-term goal that is important to you?

By focusing on your Bigger Why, you shift your brain's energy from the useless not-good-enough story towards specific things you can do to improve and grow. Research has shown that this increases your motivation and resilience!
