Hello, Awesome Humans! I'm Nataly Kogan and today, I want to talk to you about how to feel less overwhelmed in your life and I want to give you 3 tips on what to do if you are feeling overwhelmed, stressed or anxious.

We all have those moments in our life where we are either feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or dealing with anxiety and I am here today to give you 3 tips to help you struggle through those times a little less.

1. Get specific about what you actually feel
Interview your feelings so you can figure out what could be causing you to feel stressed or overwhelmed. The more specific you can get with your feelings, the easier it is to get through them.

2. Take a Break!
You need to give your brain an opportunity to rest, organize, and process all of your thoughts. A simple 10-20 minute break is all you really need as long as you use those 10-20 minutes to do something that feels fueling.

When you rest, it's not doing nothing, It's the opposite of doing nothing because when you rest your brain is actually very productive and it gets a chance to process information and come up with unexpected ideas.

3. Say Something Kind and Supportive About Yourself
It can be difficult to treat yourself with the kindness that you treat others, so try to imagine a friend coming to you and telling you that is stressed out -- what would you say to him or her? Say that to yourself!

That is actually what it means to practice self-compassion, treating yourself with the same care and support as you would give to a friend.
