This is the second part of the video series on how to avoid burning out, and we will focus on finding courage on how to break free from stories that might actually be causing you to burn out.

We all have stories that our brains tell us about how we've "always been" and often, these stories cause us anxiety and stress, actually keeping you in the daily cycle of burnout. It's not easy to face these stories because they offer us comfort. So we need to practice courage to break through them.

In this video, I share 2 questions you can ask that will help you edit your story so you can struggle less:

1. Is this story actually true?
Are there facts to support it or is your brain making it up?

2. Is this story helpful?
How does the story help you to achieve your meaningful goals, be a better person, parent, friend, or colleague?

Becoming aware of the stories that might be causing you to struggle and making the courageous choice to question them, edit them, and break free from them, is an essential skill that will help you avoid burnout or heal from one.
