We all go through difficult times in life and now, in particular, with all the challenges we're facing, I want to share some advice to help you have a positive mindset -- which can be difficult.

Many people assume that having a mindset means always thinking positive thoughts and feeling good. But that kind of toxic positivity is a trap and it actually makes it harder for you to get through difficult challenges.

You have to remember you're not a machine, you're a human being, and you are not meant to always feel positive or think positive thoughts. In fact, research shows that when you allow yourself to embrace all of the different emotions that you feel, including the difficult ones, you get through them with less intensity and pain.

So having a positive mindset is not about always looking on the bright side or thinking positive thoughts -- it's about helping yourself to get through challenges in a positive way.

In this video, I share with you how to practice Acceptance -- to see the situation ahead of you with clarity and then find the best way to move forward in a way that positively serves you.

Another skill I share with you is gratitude. Because of your brain's negativity bias, it's much easier to focus on everything that's wrong or negative. Practicing gratitude and bringing your attention to the small good moments in your everyday life helps to balance out this negativity bias and fuels your resilience to help you get through tough times.
