Alice claimed she was in an 'emotionally abusive and controlling relationship' with Brand, then 31, for about three months, a joint investigation by The Sunday Times, The Times and Channel 4 Dispatches has revealed. The woman, who has now branded the star's alleged behaviour as 'grooming', claimed that after they throughout their relationship he would refer to her as 'The Child' and gradually became 'controlling, and then emotionally and sexually abusive'. Four women have alleged sexual assaults between 2006 and 2013, when he was at the height of his fame, working for BBC Radio 2 and Channel 4 as well as starring in Hollywood films.
