In the 17th century, Sir Francis Bacon was at the very base of the scientific revolution and introduced into it the scientific method that we have modified for our use in modern times. He spent many of his years as a politician, but this did not prevent him from imposing his genius on the philosophical and scientific world.

Here, in this video, we explore his contributions to science and natural philosophy, as well as many of his achievements throughout his life. I will cover in a basic sense the fundamental steps of the scientific method, the four idols, and the legacy it left in the world of science and philosophy.
