What a Therapist Learned from her Clients about the human condition: Part 1

Over the past 17 years of practicing therapy and counseling in a variety of settings—from individual and group therapy to hospitals, homeless shelters, and even my own yoga studio—I've gained invaluable life lessons from my diverse range of clients. These clients, many of whom have endured significant traumas, have become some of my greatest teachers, profoundly shaping my understanding of human interconnectedness, resilience, and the healing power of humor. Inspired by Buddhist philosophies, I've learned to appreciate the transient yet impactful nature of human relationships. Through navigating the complexities of trauma, mental health, and human emotions, I've become a strong advocate for the transformative effects of comedy and the importance of going with the flow. This journey has not only deepened my own grasp of the 'human condition,' but also solidified my approach to helping others find peace, security, and fulfillment in the face of life's inevitable challenges.
