Man arrested after grabbing news reporter’s butt live on air

A Spanish journalist’s broadcast was subject to an unwanted guest in the form of a far-too-friendly man who decided to make a bit of news himself.

Television reporter Isa Balado was covering a spate of shoplifting thefts in Madrid when the man walked up to her and grabbed her butt, asking which channel she worked for. She then began an impromptu interview, asking the man if it had been necessary to touch her butt. The man laughed and apologized before making the situation worse by awkwardly staring at her.

The man was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and now faces a potential fine or jail time.
