CURBING ROAD CARNAGE ON THE NORTHERN CORRIDOR - 6 DAY ROAD SAFETY CAMPAIGN KICKS OFF IN MALABA

A multi-agency team from Kenya and Uganda are on a 5-day road safety campaign from Malaba border to the Uganda-DRC border of Mpondwe in Kasese.
The Northern corridor campaign is geared at educating road users on the common risks and causes of road accidents.
According to the Uganda annual crime report 2022, there were 21,473 casualties from the road crashes in 2022.
To help curb rampant road crashes, the Northern corridor transit and transport coordination Authority in collaboration with multi-agency teams from Uganda have unveiled a Northern corridor route road safety campaign.
