Imagine a football fan fighting and killing the other because of provocation after losing a match, well this happened in western Uganda. The question is, how far should a football fanatic control his anger even when at a losing side.
The rivalry among fans on who supports which football team and the provocation mainly after every game is not only in the western world, but equally locally.
In Brazil, for every Boca Junior game, Police is always on alert for any eminent death that might occur.
In Uganda, whenever the National team the cranes played against any East African rivals, provocations not only on twitter but even in stadiums is everywhere. And for this time around when Tanzania qualified for the 2024 Africa cup of nations in Ivory coast at the expense of Uganda cranes, social media was filled with trolls.
Well over the weekend, a 22-year-old man from Sheema District in Uganda is accused of killing an Arsenal fan following a disagreement over English Premier League match between Arsenal and Man United.
Police say, Jackson Aineruhanga was killed moments after Arsenal’s victory against Man United.
So to what extent should a football fan manage pressure when their team is on the losing or winning side.
