North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has arrived in Russia, where he will join a a summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin to address a range of ‘sensitive issues.’ His armored train entered Russian territory earlier on Tuesday, as confirmed by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov. Earlier reports indicated that Kim's train had journeyed north along the coast, stopping at the Khasan railway station on the North Korean-Russian border and subsequently crossing the Razdolnaya River near Vladivostok. President Putin arrived in Vladivostok earlier for a two-day visit to attend the Eastern Economic Forum.

The Russian-North Korean summit's agenda remains undisclosed, as does its location, but it is expected to tackle bilateral economic and cultural cooperation, and, according to some reports, strengthening military ties, and the potential for humanitarian aid. While there will be both one-on-one negotiations and an official banquet, the two leaders are not planning on holding any press conferences.
