Biden falsely claims he visited Ground Zero day after 9/11

Another day, another another Biden blunder. Fresh from his ‘Ramblin’ round the world tour,’ which saw him cut off mid-sentence by his own staff, Biden decided to pay tribute to the September 11 attacks the best way he knows – by making it all about him.

‘Ground Zero in New York — I remember standing there the next day and looking at the building. I felt like I was looking through the gates of Hell, it looked so devastating,’ said Biden, during a speech in Alaska to mark the anniversary.

Only one problem – that's a big fat lie. Biden wasn't there the day after the attacks, he was in Washington DC, speaking to the Senate. Biden didn’t turn up at Ground Zero for over a week afterwards.
