Empowering communities - Refugee hosting Communities implementing US $ 60M/= worth of projects

Isingiro District is completing infrastructural projects under the World Bank’s refugee window of funding worth 32 Billion shillings.
The Uganda Support to Municipal Infrastructure Development USMID, through the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development is overseeing the implementation of the program through a $60m credit from the Global lender.
Mayanja Gonzaga, the Commissioner for Monitoring and Evaluation in the Office of the Prime Minister, says that projects are aimed at improving the standard of living among the host communities and refugees.
