Putin is using an old Soviet technique called “Reflexive Control,” where the Kremlin feeds an opponent information to push them to act in Russia’s interest. President Biden bought Putin’s threats and warned Americans that the world could face a possible nuclear “Armageddon.” He then refused to send various offensive weapons to Ukraine, such as longer-range missiles, and placed strict restrictions on how Ukraine can use certain weapons. Yet, this has not stopped Putin from moving tactical nuclear warheads into Belarus, confirmed by President Alexander Lukashenko.
