Clashes at Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon continue

Clashes in Lebanon’s largest Palestinian refugee camp resumed with gunfire and shelling, wounding several people and prompting its residents and the surrounding area to flee. Days of street battles have broken out between Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah movement and Islamist groups in the Ein el-Hilweh camp, after Fatah accused the Islamists of gunning down one of their generals on July 30.
