Becoming Independent in Rio

I don't know how many of you know this, especially since last year it was very much highlighted since it was the 200th anniversary of this Brazilian historic event, but once again (as happens every year) INDEPENDENCE DAY IS UPON US. It will be two days from now to be exact.
So what could be more appropriate then for me to bring you this video speaking about exactly how our independence from Portugal went down in 1822 and also to correct a few wrong assumptions that y'all might still have in this sense, such as that the history of Brazil (or any country for that matter) began with it's independence, ABSOLUTELY NOT!
And on this very video I'll also explain exactly how historically wrong it is to say such a ludicrous thing.
Also, as promised in the video, here is the link of another video I found right here on rumble with the actual anthem of Brazil's independence, enjoy:
https://rumble.com/vgfliz-brazilian-patriotic-song-hino-da-independncia-vocal.html

In case you want to the see the translation of said anthem, here it is:
Now you can, Motherland's children
See your gentle mother glad;
Now the freedom dawned
In Brazil's horizon.

Brave Brazilian people!
Let it go, the servant fear:
The homeland shall be free
Or we shall die for Brazil.

The chains that the cunning ruse
Of perfidy was forging to us...
There was a mightier hand:
Brazil deride them.

Brave Brazilian people!
Let it go, the servant fear:
The homeland shall be free
Or we shall die for Brazil.

Don't you fear the impious phalanxes
That show a hostile face;
Your chests, your arms
Are the walls of Brazil.

Brave Brazilian people!
Let it go, the servant fear:
The homeland shall be free
Or we shall die for Brazil.

Congratulations, oh Brazilian,
[For] now, with manly dignity,
Among the nations of the universe,
Brazilian one shines.

Brave Brazilian people!
Let it go, the servant fear:
The homeland shall be free
Or we shall die for Brazil.
