Starfield Preload Is Ready! But Has It Gone Gold Too Late?

Starfield is preloading now on XBox and Windows Store. With that announcement they made mention that Starfield has gone gold, but if it has indeed gone gold a few days before preload started, that may be an indicator for problems at launch. Will we see the fun Bethesda bugs or is this another Cyberpunk 2077 situation?
