2001 and 2003 Otis Series 1 Hydraulic Elevators at Toringdon 1 and 2 (Charlotte, NC)

These two are the originals of this area of offices. These were the last buildings I've filmed since Toringdon 3 had 2004 Series 1's similar to Toringdon 2, and Toringdon 5 had 2005 Series 5's similar to Toringdon 6.

These are some nice looking elevators that bait and switch you. Expecting a Series 4? Nahh, have a Shiny Series 1 instead. Both of these elevator sets could stop a lot smoother though as they can jolt on stops.

FUN FACT: I filmed these at 6 PM, apparently some tenants (used to) stay open past 5 PM unlike most office buildings.
