Hagerty Goes Full Woke – The Black Ghost Hoax!

Two different stories blend into one. The 1970 Dodge Challenger Black Ghost scam, as being a legendary drag racer, as well as Hagerty going full environmental carbon credits, DEI and woke.
This all began with me digging deeper as Hagerty non-renewed me and failed to pay for some minor claims as a regular insurance company. I suspect its due to the older video I made about them, and the magazine, pushing political propaganda, and nothing about collector cars.
Looking through their website and searches, you notice how hard Hagerty is propping up the story of the Black Ghost. The Youtube channel Uncle Tony’s Garage goes into this way better (link in pinned comment), and I do recommend watching it in its entirety. This car can in no way be a drag racing legend. It’s a bone stock car, fully loaded (making it heavier).
But looking further we find the whole MGM movie deal, how everthing about this car is a manufactured story, including the National Historic Vehicle Registry (owned by Hagerty), its showcasing in various Concours d’Elegance, Amelia Island showings (also owned by Hagerty).
The sad part is that if they wanted diversity, they could have chosen Big Willie Robinson, who has a well documented history of doing good for the car community. But its about money, and making it for themselves.
Hagerty is on board with carbon credits, every woke talking point, to where they exclude the largest demographic. I suspect that is what they are doing, by cancelling policies by some algo, for some client recomposition. Hagerty is now engaged in political activism, they pledge support to stakeholders, but not their customers or even share holders.
What happened to this once great company? Can it be fixed? Can any of them return?
If you want, listen to the video. There are some odd tells, showing there is more going on, mostly from the operator’s nervousness or silence. (I wont lie and say there are gotchas, but its still very coincidental and messed up)
