One mom once told me that right around age 3 is the sweet spot for potty training. I don't know if that's true for everyone but for us that has been pretty accurate! We started potty training when our first daughter was 2 but she didn't get comfortable using the toilet until she turned three. She was very afraid of the toilet and especially hated the sound of it flushing. My other two children aren't that way. Our son is three now and is almost completely potty trained. It has been slow but mostly due to our lack of prioritizing it. Our youngest daughter will be 2 next month and she already seems interested in being done with diapers. (Meaning ... she rips off all her clothes, her diaper, and then pees on our floor more often than I can count lol) We may end up fully potty training her soon too but I am not convinced she is ready.
