Are you here? Interogative… If you put that question backwards, as “here you are,” it’s declarative. Welcome to The Paul Leslie Hour, folks.

We are about to listen to an in-depth interview with Michael Utley and Robert Greenidge (pronounced Grin-idge) of Club Trini (pronounced tree-knee)! That’s exclamatory. Greenidge & Utley are longtime members in Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band in addition to their Club Trini project.

This interview was recorded in old Key West, Florida. Yes, it goes back a number of years when Paul was just a wide-eyed pup getting started in the world of radio. Michael and Robert being the great gentlemen that they are stopped in to a backyard and gave Paul as much time as he wanted. Nice guys, aren’t they?

Michael Utley recently mentioned this interview and we thought it was worth bringing it out to to all of our listeners on Spotify, Apple, iHeartRadio, et cetera. It has been digitally remastered for your listening enjoyment.

Here’s an imperative, that means request or command. Please consider liking The Paul Leslie Hour on Facebook. You can also subscribe on YouTube. Do it now.

Now, we know that Mr. Jimmy Buffett recently went into the hospital. It happens to us all, that’s for sure. I think we can be certain that all of the listeners, your announcer who is speaking as well as Paul are sending him prayers and well wishes. Jimmy means a lot to the world of music and we look forward to him getting back to his old self.

So let’s hear Michael Utley and Robert Greenidge down in Key West, sitting down with Paul Leslie to talk about Club Trini, Jimmy Buffett and the many artists they recorded with.

Let’s listen together.
