“Are you gonna help raise the baby?” 🥴

Abortion is not an act of compassion. By this logic, it would be “compassion” to end the lives of all the suffering, struggling, “unwanted” people in the world. Being unwanted by your birth parents shouldn’t be a death sentence. Your birth parents don’t speak for the rest of the world. And we all of us struggle and suffer. Ending someone’s life on the basis of how it MIGHT turn out (ie poor, struggling, “unwanted”) is not justification enough to end human lives before they’ve ever even had a chance in the world.
