Summary:
I absolutely believe the Word of God is complete, perfect, and that there are no new revelations needed to add to the Scriptures. Does this mean, however, that the Lord has nothing else to say to us? Does He only speak to us through the Bible? Is this how He operated in the past? Does He state he might speak to us differently in the last days? Are we listening?

Notes:
Prophecy: Greek - prophēteia (prof-ay-ti’-ah) - a discourse emanating from divine inspiration and declaring the purposes of God, whether by reproving and admonishing the wicked, or comforting the afflicted, or revealing things hidden; esp. by foretelling future events

of the prediction of events relating to Christ's kingdom and its speedy triumph, together with the consolations and admonitions pertaining to it, the spirit of prophecy, the divine mind, to which the prophetic faculty is due

Takeaway:
Not only will God pour His spirit upon His servants and prophets, but He said there will be signs and wonders in heaven and earth, and that we are to look for them. This is how we know our redemption draws nigh! Yes, try the spirits, and test any word of prophecy by the Scriptures. However, let’s look and listen to what God is telling us and showing us in the last days. Don’t put God’s will in a box. He will do what He said He would do, whether we believe it or not!
