The base of the box was made of 2 mm thick binding cardboard and ordinary cardboard. The required dimensions are indicated in the video.
Next, the base was glued inside and out with craft paper using PVA glue. It is not necessary to dilute PVA glue with water.
After the paper was dry, covered the base with spackling paste and made stripes with a comb.
When the spackling paste has dried, I decorated the box with decorative elements made of self-hardening clay, which I made using silicone molds. Here are links to them:

Painted the box with acrylics.
First I applied black and allowed it to dry completely.
I applied turquoise paint with a sponge. Added gold.
