SCRIPTURES:

THINGS WE ESTEEMED ~ Luke 16:15 (Jesus speaks)
"And He said to them, 'You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God.'"

THINGS WE SURRENDERED ~ Luke 14:27‭, ‬31‭-‬33
"And whoever does not BEAR HIS CROSS and come after Me cannot be My disciple....Or what king, going to make war against another king, does not sit down first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand? Or else, while the other is still a great way off, he sends a delegation and asks conditions of peace. So likewise, whoever of you does not FORSAKE ALL that he has cannot be My disciple."

THINGS THAT BECAME NEW ~ II Corinthians 5:12‭-‬17
"For we do not commend ourselves again to you, but give you opportunity to boast on our behalf, that you may have an answer for those who boast in appearance and not in heart. For if we are beside ourselves, it is for God; or if we are of sound mind, it is for you. For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."
