Words of Encouragement, April 17th, 2024 Ep. 719 ~ POLE DANCING in Church & The Final Word Concerning Human Se***ality" QUESTION: Who gets the last word concerning human se***ality and what its boundaries are, If any? Fleshly defilement in all its forms is nothing new. Se***al immorality was rampant in the Roman world, in Jesus' day. When Jesus spoke of it, it was not from an ivory tower of prudish naivety. Truth be told, God invented human se***ality It was a His idea, and it was good. But like all good things He created, God also created boundaries so those good things would not also destroy us. And those boundaries were also good. They are not "negotiable" or mere suggestions. He was, and still is, emphatic about those boundaries He initiated, as we are about to see. God was serious then and He's serious now. He does not tolerate or have a passive "I really don't care what you do" kind of attitude. And He has not...and does not...change with the increasingly compromising culture. God is not the ultimate "frog in the kettle," as we are often prone to be. Jesus, Who is also called "The Word," of God, does have the final say concerning all things concerning human se***ality In all its forms.
